Is there an equalizer for SoundCloud?
Yes, in SoundCloud Desktop: 10 bands from 32 Hz to 16 kHz, -12 to +12 dB, and 11 presets. Open it with the "Sound tuning" button in the player.
Where to find each feature How do I make slowed or nightcore?
In "Sound tuning", set the speed: around 0.8x for slowed, 1.25x for nightcore. In "Auto" the pitch follows the speed; in "Manual" you set it on its own, from -12 to +12 semitones. "Remember for this track" keeps that sound for that one track.
Does the equalizer change the file?
No. It only changes playback: the track on SoundCloud and your downloaded files stay exactly as they were.
Can I save my own preset?
Yes. Set the bands and press "Save preset". "My presets" holds up to 20, with names up to 24 characters.
Can it go louder than 100%?
Yes, the volume slider goes up to 200% and snaps to 50, 100, 150 and 200%. Hold Shift for 1% steps; double-click resets it to 100%.
How do I turn on HQ?
HQ comes with STAR. With STAR, open Settings > Audio > Playback > Audio quality and pick "Max · HQ".
