Questions
Offline, answered.
Can I listen to SoundCloud offline?
Yes. Save a track with "Save offline", a playlist with "Download > Save for offline", and all your likes with "Download all likes". It all plays from the Offline section, even with no connection.
Guide Where are the downloaded tracks?
Open "Settings > Storage > Cache location > Open folder".
Guide The cache takes too much space. Can I move it to another drive?
"Settings > Storage > Cache location > Change folder...", then "Move and restart". "Audio cache limit" caps the size at 1 to 8 GB or leaves it unlimited. Likes and offline playlists are not counted against it.
Guide Can I add my own mp3 and flac files?
Yes: "Offline > My files > Add files" or "Add folder", or just drag them into the window. mp3, m4a, flac, ogg, opus and wav all work. The files stay where they are.
Do I need an account or STAR?
Not for the offline library: on the sign-in screen click "Continue without signing in". Streaming SoundCloud needs a sign-in. Offline is free for everyone, no STAR needed.
